2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 LE (USA Only)
Features
The "A" mode lets the rider enjoy sportier engine response in the low- The standard map is designed for optimum overall performance. " The R1 features Yamaha D-MODE (or drive mode) with rider-selectable throttle control maps to program YCC-T performance characteristics for riding conditions. The fuel injection system provides optimum air/fuel mixtures for maximum power and smooth throttle response. YCC-I is Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake which is a variable intake system that broadens the spread of power. " This R1 keeps all the technological superiorities developed for its predecessor: YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) is MotoGP inspired fly-by-wire technology used to deliver instant throttle response. This breakthrough technology on the YZF-R1 represents a paradigm shift in both technology and performance. It's a feeling that's simply unmatched, like having two engines in one: the low-rpm torquey feel of a twin with the raw, high rpm power of an inline four. That means smooth roll-on delivery out of the corners, with outstanding tractability, followed by very strong high rpm power. This uneven order does an amazing thing… it actually lets power build more smoothly. Crossplane technology, first pioneered in MotoGP racing with the M1, puts each piston 90° from the next, with an uneven firing interval of 270° - 180°- 90°- 180°. " Back for 2010, the YZF-R1 is the only production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. The YZF-R1 was chosen for its MotoGP-inspired engine and chassis technology, and for its luxurious fit and finish. " The YZF-R1 garnered the prestigious award as the 2009 Motorcycle of the Year from Motorcyclist Magazine.

Engine
" This fuel-injected engine takes full advantage of YCC-T (Yamaha The silencer is a single expansion type, and the sound coming through from the unique crossplane crankshaft- equipped engine is unlike any other inline-four cylinder production supersport. " The exhaust system is meticulously designed to enhance engine output while, thanks to its three-way catalyst technology, also reducing exhaust emissions. " Slipper-type back torque-limiting clutch greatly facilitates braking/downshifting from high speed. This contributes to outstanding power delivery characteristics in the high-speed range, while the design also helps to minimize intake noise. " A forced-air intake system is adopted to increase intake efficiency by using the natural airflow during riding to pressurize the air in the air box. Titanium intake valves are lightweight. " This engine features forged aluminum pistons to take maximum advantage of the power characteristics. " To maximize rider comfort as well as power output, the engine adopts a coupling-type balancer that rotates in the opposite direction as the crankshaft. Instead, combustion torque continues to build, giving the rider more linear throttle response with awesome power and traction out of the corners. This overcomes the inherent fluctuations in inertial torque during each engine revolution, and the accompanying peaky torque characteristics. Unlike typical inline-four engine design, where the two outer and two inner pistons move together in pairs with 180° intervals, the crossplane crankshaft has each connecting rod 90° with a unique firing order of 270° - 180° - 90° - 180°. " Crossplane crankshaft technology proven in victory after victory on MotoGP machines provides a high-tech uneven firing interval.
Chassis/Suspension
Chassis/Suspension
The elongated shape of the tank allows it to fit neatly within the frame in a way that promotes concentration of mass. " The press-formed fuel tank has a shape developed using 3-D simulation analysis technology. R1 has adjustable footrests, with a 15mm height and 3mm front-to-rear adjustment. Welcome to the club. " Factory racers get machines tailored to their preferences. To achieve maximum performance, a bottom linkage is used to work with the rest of the chassis refinements for brilliant, crisp handling characteristics. This unit also adopts a pillow-ball-type joint for exceptional shock absorption, road hold feeling, and damper response. " The SOQI rear shock features both high and low speed compression damping plus an easy-to-use screw hydraulic adjustment for preload. Since both forks always move together, compression damping duties can be confined to the left fork, while rebound damping is precisely handled by the right fork, reducing oil cavitation. " SOQI front forks take a page from the championship-winning design of our MotoGP weapon, the M1. It is a sophisticated combination of Controlled-Fill die-cast, stamping, and gravity casting… the exact technology needed for each portion of this advanced frame. " The frame has a combination of uncompromising rigidity where needed along with carefully achieved flex for the precise rigidity balance this bike needs to give the rider the full benefit of its handling and engine characteristics.
2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Review
If you love driving, and you love riding over high-revving fast and furious crotch rockets, you will find something great in the simplicity of the 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 line-up. All areas of interest are: for those who love the traditional-style motorcycles, Classic is a great choice for those who live on the highway and need a motorcycle that reflects those feelings, Classic LT Bill fits nicely, for those who love an aggressive style, big wheels and a deep guttural sound, custom is the king.
Regardless of which one you choose, ride and experience tells the same story.
My Love Affair with the 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 ...
... he failed relationship, a broken tonight, and with tears streaming down my face. My bike was a place of solitude, and it was a recent acquisition to it. I remember Looking back at my first ride with regret, as I felt the experience tainted by the circumstances that surrounded that fateful night.
I feel differently now. This motorcycle has brought some properties with me, I never fathomed when I bought it: courage, pride, and most of all, joy. Horseback riding this bike is like your first kiss: first turn the gas down, hurry, no other intoxication can never match.
His aggressive style is associated with a 903cc V-Twin, which provides plenty of go-juice, while the bike itself remains intimate and sensitive. These slender and round like this, you will have a round hole and forgives you. It's the best relationship you'll ever have, and all it will ever ask in return is that you show some love every moment.
Reasons why you love the Vulcan too
If the line is beautiful and tasteful accents Chrome is not enough for you, the sound of twin pipes bellow acceleration can be the finishing touch. If this is not your forte, maybe it's more relaxed maintenance schedule, lightweight design, comfort and driver and front passenger positions.
For most, I suspect it will be absolutely dynamic motorcycle brings to the table. It feels safe and secure from the moment you hop on, and every time you see the tunnel you are blipping gas to hear the sweet symphony that sings, I dare you try to resist the temptation.
Finally, it is in cycling, it really shines. As beautiful as it is to look at, it is even more beautiful to the pilot. At the end, this is what motorcycling is all about: enjoying the world around you much more intimate than a car (and expensive sports car) would never allow. If this is not a sufficient reason, hop on one and take him for a ride, you'll find your own reason to fall in love with a Vulcan.

2010 Supersport Kawasaki Motorcycles Ninja ZX-14
Fast Motorcycles Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 2010
2010 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14
A special piston profile and a urethane insulation sheet on the inside of the magnesium chain In lieu of a more-restrictive exhaust system, the ZX-14 meets noise standards by producing minimal internal mechanical noise. These devices, combined with a wide dispersal of atomized fuel from the fine-atomizing fuel injectors and optimized flow characteristics through the intakes, allow the ZX-14’s 1352cc engine to offer strong performance, yet still meet the toughest motorcycle emissions regulations. Secondary air ports in the cylinder head and its cover flow clean air into the exhaust system and boost the efficiency of the three honeycomb catalyzers employed in the exhaust system. Intake and exhaust systems permit it to comply with strict emissions and noise regulations, even as its massive low-end torque, mid-range thrust and legendary Ninja peak power place it at the top of the sportbike food chain. Despite ever-tightening noise and emissions regulations; the ZX-14 has continued to set the pace of sportbike excellence ever since its domineering debut. The ZX-14’s systems are designed to allow riders to exploit the full potential of man and machine, while effortlessly dispatching all challengers. Its monocoque chassis and wind-tunnel developed body represent the cutting edge of sportbike design. It may not cost a million dollars or have a V-12 engine, but the ZX-14’s 1352cc fuel-injected inline-four is the closest thing on two wheels. The mission of Kawasaki’s flagship Ninja ZX-14 is not unlike that of an exotic supercar — to project the awesome power and technology of its parent company in rapid fashion, every time the throttle is twisted.

Black Icon Leather Motorcycle Jacket
Icon jackets are durable, stylish and, most of all, Apart from these, Icon's line of jackets is the most sought after in the market and is the major target for copyright infringement. Among the Icon products that are being misappropriated by unscrupulous groups are helmets, gloves, pants, bags, armor, accessories and footwear. The increasing demand for Icon merchandise creates pockets of opportunity for fakes to proliferate, particularly in areas where authorized retailers of Icon originals are not within practical reach. It is human tendency to imitate success in the hopes of garnering even just a portion of their benefits. However, this is still a comparatively small distribution channel for a growing population keen on high-quality products. Dealership of Icon's wares spans 24 countries in all 6 populated continents of the planet. Imitating Icon's success Icon Motosports' products are truly world-class.
